Kabuki theatre is a classical form of Japanese theatre that blends dramatic performance with traditional dance. Performances consisted of colorful robes, exaggerated expressions, and of course, the kabuki masks.

Inspired by those very masks, this logo design was created to celebrate the playful nature of kabuki performances while capturing the importance of the music within this Japanese art form. The mask is made up of various musical notes and symbols while the white background and red dot represent the Japanese flag.
